John M Masusock

John Masusock is the founder and CEO of Your Dental COO©. He has over 30 years of experience in the dental profession, as a senior level executive for both dental groups and a fortune 500 dental insurance company (CIGNA Dental Health). Recently he served as a principal and Chief Operating Officer for Simply Beautiful Smiles, a multi-location, multi-specialty dental group in Pennsylvania and New Jersey until the successful sale to private equity in 2014.

He founded Your Dental COO in response to the tremendous demand for strategic and management consulting services for private dental groups. This innovative concept delivers “C-suite” level management to small healthcare groups, primarily dentists, who are 1 or 2 provider groups seeking to stay competitive in an era of consolidation and increased competition.

According to Liberty Capital CEO John Masusock, “Your Virtual COO is sort of time sharing arrangement whereby we offer executive management to a number of small groups across the country, who would normally not have access to or cannot afford a Chief Operating/Chief Financial officer”. He goes on to say “of the over 90,000 dentists in the country over 70% are solo practitioners. While most of the private equity capital has been directed toward larger group consolidation, Your Virtual COO is targeting the other 90% of the market.”

Mr. Masusock also serves as the Chairman and CEO of Liberty Capital Holding, LLC. LCH represents large dental groups with revenue between $ 3 million and $ 50 million, seeking to merge or sell their groups to strategic and financial buyers. Mr. Masusock holds a B.S. in Business & Management Information Services from Temple University. 

When he is not working he enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
